Regional derby brings activities stateside for VCF Academy Houston

More than 8,000 kilometres from the scene of this weekend's regional derby in LaLiga, the Valencia CF and Villarreal CF Academies in Houston met up in the days before the game.

The two academies combined for activities, training sessions and games stateside. The VCF Academy Houston, which was launched in 2020 and has 20 male and female teams with nearly 300 children, train in the town of Katy following the methodology of Valencia CF.

 They recently obtained great results at the Puma Cup, in which the different teams that participated -Black, Orange and White- finished as champions or runners-up in their respective categories for those born in 2014 and 2015.

The VCF Academy Houston is also one of the teams that has participated in all editions of the VCF Academy World Cup, the international Under-12s tournament that Valencia CF have been organising since 2022 at the Ciudad Deportiva for participating teams from America, Asia and Europe.

The VCF Academy Houston is one of the various VCF Academies that Valencia CF has in various strategic markets, allowing the club to expand its brand image.
